Professional Development

Below I've listed a few qualities I need to improve on and what I could do to improve these traits.

  1. Social Anxiety

As I suffer from autism, I can still find it hard to meet new people and take part in big groups without feeling naturally anxious. The way I can calm this is to simply just take part in more group projects and talk to more people. Spending more time around people doing projects with settle my nerves after an extended amount of time as ill have had more experiences and more wisdom to how to participate professionally in groups.

2. Grammar

I need to improve my grammar if I want to further my professional development. I will tend to type fast and sometimes forget to spell check, which in a professional development never looks good. To improve this quality I can write more, get more involved in forms and applications, and learn to type slower and read my sentences back.

3. Procrastination

The biggest fault of mine professionally is my tendency to procrastinate, usually either when I think something will be too easy or too hard. This is a vital flaw that I need to work on as it results in lacklustre work and projects being handed in. To improve this flaw I can simply stay in the office, make a schedule.

Here's an example of a schedule sheet template I could use to map out my projects and career goals to focus on goals one at a time, improving my time keeping skills and stop procrastination.

Here is another plan sheet found that leans more to motivation and failing

and trying until things get right.
