Previous Work Experiences

I've not yet has the chance to be apart of a paid contractual job within the film industry yet, but I have worked in environments where I have learned a skill set that I believe will massively benefit me going forwards with a job in film as an aspiration.

2019-2021 - WEST LAKES ACADEMY - HOMEWORK CLUB ASSISTANT

I worked in my own school between 2019 and 2021 as a homework club assistant. In this role I worked with children in earlier years of secondary school in an after school environment. This was valuable to me as at the time I aspired to be a teacher more than directly a film-maker. I learned a lot of social skills in this role but also learned a lot about leading and looking over a large group of people. As a director I would be cast with leading a team of actors and camera-men, so i learned a lot working here.

HOME BARGAINS - 2022

My second job was at Home Bargains in Whitehaven. This was my first venture into retail and I learned a lot about the importance of fast paced working. I also worked with a big team for a first time and collaboration was important to get the job done. I also further developed my social skills, interacting with customers on the till and delivering a fast paced, reliable service.
